As much as wrestling fans would love to see CM Punk return to the sport and start wrestling again, the former WWE Superstar remains retired and is keeping himself occupied with other projects. Punk is still working on his MMA career, but he has also been branching out into the world of acting. The former world champion is set to appear in a new horror film titled “Girl on the Third Floor.” Early Rotten Tomatoes reviews have been positive, and Punk’s performance in the film is even being praised. Punk is playing the lead role in the movie, and those who remember his work in the wrestling business know just how charismatic he can be. Reviews are still coming in, but this may be one film that horror and CM Punk fans alike may not want to miss.

NXT’s Undisputed Era faction received a shakeup one year ago when Roderick Strong joined the group. Roddy is still rolling with Kyle O’Reilly, Bobby Fish, and leader Adam Cole, but could the team be getting a female member soon? According to a report from WrestlingNews.co, there have been discussions backstage about possibly having NXT Superstar Marina Shafir join the Undisputed Era. Shafir is married to Roderick Strong, and she is also set to team with The Undisputed Era in mixed tag team matches on some upcoming NXT live events. Shafir is currently appearing with Jessamyn Duke during NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler’s matches, but there may be different plans for her in the works, especially if Baszler is promoted to the main WWE roster soon and Duke embarks on a singles career in NXT.
