McGregor Teases WWE Run & Congratulates Lynch, HHH On His Future

Despite UFC Legend Conor McGregor ripping WWE Superstars in the past, he has remained a fan of The New RAW & SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch and has even supported her since day one. McGregor took to Twitter after Becky’s win this past Sunday at WrestleMania 35 and congratulated her. He also teased possibly signing with WWE sometime in the future, writing, “Stephanie McMahon you are right, I could not do what these athletes do. Or could I…”
Below is his full tweet:

Congrats to Irelands Becky Lynch, the WWE’s first Champ Champ.
Wow!
What a match these ladies put on! Ronda Rousey is something special in that ring, as is Charlotte Flair of the Flair dynasty!
Stephanie McMahon you are right, I could not do what these athletes do.
Or could I…

McGregor would then show off some of his knowledge of Pro Wrestling when a fan took to Twitter and said that Chris Jericho was actually WWE’s first dual champion. This was when Jericho unified The World Championship (previously The WCW Championship) & The WWF Title at The Vengeance PPV in 2001. McGregor would then take to Twitter and respond with:

One of these is a WCW belt.
Both belts must be won under the same organization and both titles must be fully unified also.
Interim titles do not make the cut.
The belts must also be held consecutively.
This is for true “Champ Champ” status.
Yours sincerely,
The Champ Champ™? https://t.co/b7dW8T1Gty

This past Sunday at WrestleMania 35, Triple H defeated Batista in a No Holds Barred Match with his WWE in-ring career on the line. As seen in the video below, Triple H reacted to his victory and said that he is not sure if he will wrestle again anyway, but at least the decision is in his hands.

“[My] career’s still intact,” Triple H said. “If I go again, at least it’s my decision.”
